Day 205

Image
Finally back with our cuddle bugs <3

Day 204

Image
I hate days like this - days when I don't get to see my kids at all. But I am so grateful they are in such good hands when Scott's parents or my parents watch them.  Thanks Grandma & Papa Bentley!!!

Day 203

Image
The kiddos headed off to grandma & grandpa Bentley's for the weekend so we could go to Crystal's wedding.

Day 202

Image
She'swearing the little sister outfit we got to announce her arrival. Finally fits!

Day 201

Loving the summer clothes!

Day 200

Super happy. Head's doing better. Always better.

Day 199

Image
Snoozing after pt.

Day 198

Image
Sibling love.  He's actually cheering her on here.

Day 197

Image
First touch-a-truck event. She slept the entire time.

Day 196

Image
Izzie had her cardiology appointment and weights 10lbs 7oz.  Her murmur sounded louder so they did an EKG and an ultrasound to check it out. Ugh. So. Her mitral valve is getting smaller and it can be a complication with the av canal surgery. We need to keep an eye on it and if need be, more surgery or putting a balloon in to make it bigger - but only if she shows symptoms. Right now she has none. Also, she has a very minor obstruction in her left ventricle (called an LVOT) that looks like muscle. This means it is also narrowing. Same deal as the other thing - could resolve on its own, may need surgery or balloon. Back in 2 months for follow up.

Day 195

Image
Chilling after doing some physical therapy.

Day 194

Image
Jackson loves his sister and gives her kisses all the time.  This nugget is only 10lbs 6oz.

Day 193

Image
The onesie almost fits her!

Day 192

Image
Love snuggling with this munchkin! She loves sleeping in daddy's spot in bed before he comes in - I cuddle with her every night.  Ugh so I hate to post negative stuff on here but it's par & parcel for the course, I suppose. Izzie has a brain scan today to follow up on all the brain crap that's been going on. And basically, they just don't know what's going on. Some things have gotten larger, some have shrunk. So they are sending it to Boston Children's. I'll update once we hear back.

Day 191

Image
Izzie's head control is getting MUCH better. She can keep it up for much longer. Still not a super long time but so much better.

Day 190

Image
Scott, Crystal, the kids and I spent this gorgeous day walking around the Boston Common and the Public Gardens. The kids also went on their first swan boat ride.

Day 189

Image
This kid is psyched to try her first food - oatmeal.  She liked it! Daddy time!

Day 188

Image
10lbs 6.6oz, 21.5 inches. The doctor said we can start food!

Day 187

Image
Loving the nice weather so we can go outside.

Day 186

Image
Happy baby!

Day 185

Image
Every day I need to do physical therapy with Izzie for at least 30 minutes. One of the things we've been practicing lately is having her sit up from a laying down position. She's getting awesome at it and holding her head up on the way ip.

Day 184

Image
Izzie's first mother's day! What a peanut.

Day 183

Image
Happy 6 months to this peanut! The other day I got a short giggle out of her. Well, today I got a full blown one.

Day 182

Image
Early mother's day gifts from daycare for me.  It's pretty hard to take a picture of these two together.

Day 181

Image
Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Day 180

Image
Her head is getting so much better. She's actually getting better at sitting up but it's hard to get that on camera and help hold her sitting!

Day 179

Image
Too bad the butterfly is blocking out her smiles!

Day 178

Image
Love the new outfits.

Day 177

Image
I can't believe this nugget is turning 6 months old this week. It has flown by! This chair was recommended to us by many parents who have kids with DS. It helps strengthen her core to help her get used to sitting up and strengthening her muscles so she can by practicing sitting.
