We went to see grandma & grandpa Bentley as well as Aunt Amanda and Mackenzie.  What a happy little peanut.

Day 218

Image
What a nugget. Super unimpressed with the swings. First time! Kisses.

Day 217

Image
This pudge weighs 11 lbs! They tested her thyroid - it came back normal.  We also saw the geneticist who asked some questions. I'm not really sure why we see her. LOL. Here's Izzie and her toys.  I started recreated this pic of Jack from June 10, 2014 so I figured I would continue it with her.   Cute.

Day 216

Image
Not impressed.  She saw her ENT for the first time. So good news, bad news. Her ear canals are wider than most kids with DS which is good. It means she is unlikely to have hearing issues and unlikely to have fluid issues or ear infections. Her tonsils and adenoids and nasal passage ways are very small though which is why she always has sounded stuffed up and always will sound stuffed. It is extremely likely that she will need to have both her tonsils and adenoids removed by her 2nd birthday. They like to do them both together around 2 but if there are issues that hurt her breathing they do one around 1 and one around 2.

Day 215

Image
Snoozing.

Day 214

Image
Happy 7 months!! She's starting to roll on her tummy from her back. I've never seen it but Scott's parents have. I have NO doubt that she can do it but I think she just doesn't like the feeling of falling because she'll get like 90% of the way there and chicken out. She lies on her side a lot too.

Day 213

Image
This peanut <3 She is getting MUCH better at sitting up (with support). And her head can stay up MUCH longer and is straighter.

Day 212

Image
Dad time!

Day 211

Image
Izzie's first time on the boat. She slept almost the entire time.

Day 210

Image
The kiddos went to grandma & grandpa Bentley's for a few hours so Scott & I could go to 2016 graduation. Then they came with us to the "after party".
