She makes my heart melt with how happy she is.
She went to the doctor today and he checked her for things kids with down syndrome can get such as cataracts. She doesn't have anything. Her eyes are straight.
However he used some instrument and said that she may need glasses when she is older. He said she is slightly nearsighted. But slightly in the sense that he explained it, "if she were driving on a highway at night and it was raining, she may have trouble seeing distances". So no real worries.
