First day of pre-school is in the books. She has Mrs. Flannery & Mrs. Rivelli. Scott dropping her off. And her with classmates playing in the indoor sandbox.
I can't believe Izzie is 3. Her IEP was signed by admin at the last minute so she starts school tomorrow! Such a daddy's girl. Doesn't care about the cupcake, candle or fire... just daddy. Last day of full time daycare as well. Patty has been amazing.
Guess who landed herself in the ER and got admitted? By the way she sorted these in size order a few times. Luckily it's only dehydration and the stomach flu. She left the next day. I have never been more scared because I was administering the SATs and couldn't leave. She was pale white, no fever, lethargic and vomiting.
We began the evaluation process October 10. Since then she had her classroom evaluation, PT, OT, speech and health evals. She did better than I would've liked but not awesome. She was very stubborn and bolted a few times. We shall see. Her IEP meeting is October 31.
I am a little frustrated. Isabelle has not been cooperative for hearing tests so they were supposed to do one while she was under anesthesia getting her tonsils removed... but apparently they didn't. So we had another one today and SURPRISE! the two year old would not cooperate. Shocking. Her left tube is functioning well but she does not have a tube in her right ear and the hole closed up so surprise - she also has congestion in that ear. She hears better in her left ear and "borderline normal". She hears voices better than sounds. But ultimately, they can't make a judgement call because she wouldn't cooperate. UGH.
