Isabelle Bentley

Izzie deliberately went into Jackson's room tonight and said "light off". She fell asleep after cuddling for a minute. Such a big girl. <3 Don't worry I woke her up, changed her and put her in her crib shortly after the pic was taken. 

Love this peanut. Today Isabelle was matched with a runner for the organization I RUN FOR . Her name is Laura and her daughter Ryann is also helping. Basically, it matches people who work out with people who can't for a variety of reasons. That's not to say Isabelle won't ever be able to run but she likely will not be running 5ks and marathons. You never know. SO it helps give the runners a more meaningful work out and race because they're doing it for someone who can't and it give the buddies and their families people to cheer on and support. It builds relationships. I am psyched to say Laura & Ryann are running a 5k in Georgia on October 8. We'll make signs for them and cheer them on from afar. Until then we'll get updates 3x a week. I think it's a really awesome idea.

Izzie has been sleeping through the night for about a week now. It's roughly either 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6ish. Awesome! So she had a nutrition appointment today. She's 6lbs 10 oz, head circumference is 34cm and length is 19in. She isn't on the charts. The problem is... she needs to gain weight and get bigger to do the surgery. It's really hard for the surgery to go well if the heart is super small. It's so frustrating because she eats great but just gains slow. So guess what they want me to do? Wake her up in the middle of the night to feed her. I don't mind but SHE JUST STARTED SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! LOL. Oh well. Worth it.  She also had a pediatrician appointment today too.

Today is Izzie's 1sy day in a new month! Sometimes when I am too lazy to get into bed to go to sleep after waking up in the middle of the night, I sleep on the couch and Izzie sleeps next to the Christmas tree.
