Isabelle Bentley

Since Izzie ended up in the ER last weekend we needed to move her bday party to this weekend.  She had a great day with lots of family.

Well here it is: the last first day Isabelle will ever have. She's lived every other day of the calendar once.  Isabelle's first birthday party. About 80 people came. I had a ton of help decorating and setting up from my mom, Scott;s mom & grandma. Under the sea theme. We had a paint a sand dollar station. Jack painted like 5. This is Donna - Jackson's and Isabelle's dyacare provider. Could not have lucked out more than we did with her. Isabelle looooves icing. It took like 100 hits but the pinata finally broke.  Jack also wouldn't get out of the ball pit.  <3 she is going to be the best dressed baby ever. How awesome is this cake? I know I say it all the time but we hit the jackpot with our friends and family. They have no idea how big of a support system they are to us. 

These two goobers.  We went to a friend's kid's birthday party today.

We went to a friend's baby's baptism today. These three were all born within 8 or 9 months of each other. Isabelle is the oldest. Amelia (left) is the youngest). They're all roughly the same size.  Then we went to see grandma & grandpa Bentley. Then a reporter from the Telegram & Gazette came to the house and interviewed us about Isabelle. 

Wenwe to to Amber's to watch the Patriots. Isabelle fell asleep in Crystal's arms. 

We went to the buddy walk in Westboro. It was awesome - like 70 kids from Northbridge were there volunteering. We went to a friend's daughter's 5th birthday party.  And we got to see grandma & grandpa Bentley!

We went to a kid's 5th birthday party. Izzie hung out in this swing.  Then Uncle CJ came over.  Cuddling.

Isabelle's runner, Laura, ran the rise up & run for Georgia's Mothers Against Drunk Driving 5k this morning. She made a t-shirt that says "I run 4 Isabelle".  Isabelle looks psyched. LOL. We went to the Wolnys after!

Grandma & grandpa Bentley watched the kids for a few hours so we could hang out with Scott's best friend, Dave, who is in town for his brother's memorial golf tournament that happens every Labor Day weekend. 

Isabelle got baptized today. Here she was a few days ago when I could get a few good pics of her and the dress. The baptism and the people who came. <3 Izzie with her parents & godparents. <3 Here cake.  This was the same shirt Jack wore to his bbq after his baptism. The fingerprint tree her guests made at the bbq.  We are blessed with amazing family & friends who made this day special despite the weather. 

We went to a birthday party for one of Scott's friends. It was nice but soooo hot. Izzie HATES being hot. Don't blame her. 

Loves butternut squash. We hung out with Liz & her family today!
