Isabelle's runner sent a new medal. AND  HAND MADE QUILT OF ALL THE SHIRTS SHE'S GOTTEN FROM RACES SHE'S DONE since being matched with Isabelle.

Happy 4 months, peanut! It's reallllllly flown by.  The blanket on her below is a prayer shawl (that looks like a watermelon) made by someone from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Parish and even though I'm not Catholic (although I do believe in prayer) I think it's a really cool thing that someone made. They made one for each of us which is awesome and very thoughtful.  Wire free since this am. The pacing wires that were in her body (wrists, I think) that gave instantaneous and continuous blood pressure were taken out today as was the nose cannula. The only thing left is the IV for when they need to give her meds (antibiotics and Tylenol at this point... plus she may be on some lasiks still) or take blood for labs.  Jack came to visit today too! She's slated to come home on Wednesday after having labs taken, a chest x-ray and another sedated MRI tomorrow. As long as they go well, she will be coming home Wednesday.

Baths

Recently I started giving them baths together. SO MUCH EASIER and quicker.  However I don't really trust her to sit up so I got this sit up seat for her. Lifesaver. They got recalled because parents were leaving the kids in them and walking away and so the kids were tipping them over and drowning. I literally don't get that. I don't move an inch away from them when they are in the tub. She loves splashing around in it. By the way, the water has colors because we have tablets that turn it colors. One of Jack's favorite things to do is pick which color the bath water will be.

Day 192

Love snuggling with this munchkin! She loves sleeping in daddy's spot in bed before he comes in - I cuddle with her every night.  Ugh so I hate to post negative stuff on here but it's par & parcel for the course, I suppose. Izzie has a brain scan today to follow up on all the brain crap that's been going on. And basically, they just don't know what's going on. Some things have gotten larger, some have shrunk. So they are sending it to Boston Children's. I'll update once we hear back.
